I’ve been DJing since I was 21, starting out in local bars and clubs in South-End and Chelmsford, where I am from. In 1996 I gained employment with Universal Records and moved to London. Within 12 months I had played in most of the West End’s bars (Compton’s/Bar Code/Freedom/The Edge/The Box) before securing a Club residency at Substation Soho. Crash London opened its doors two years later in 1998, and I became one of the residents.

Since then I have worked as a resident DJ for clubs that included Heaven, Action, Salvation, AM, PSP, Element and Factor 25, as well as The Queen Club in Paris. My favourite clubbing period came in 2003 when I began playing Beyond at The Coliseum – this was London After-hours at its best. I’ve been fortunate enough to play Sydney Mardi Gras for 3 years consecutive years (including the Harbour Party in 2005 and Malcolm Stewart’s Party in 2006), the Orange Ball and White Parties in Amsterdam and London, Trade in Ibiza, Dannii Minogue’s Album launch party 2006 and various other parties and clubs around the world.

In 2004 I won DJ of the year at the Scene Out Awards and also won ‘Best DJ’ for three consecutive years in Boyz magazine.

I finally got into the studio in 2006, re-mixing Danni Minogue’s “So Under Pressure”, which topped both the Music Week Club and Pop Tip Charts. I am now working with Max Sanna (Soulcast) for Remixes and we are currently working on our own tracks.

I still work for Universal Records where I am the Senior Radio Promotions Manager – handling the promotion of acts including Amy Winehouse, MIKA, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Sugababes, Mcfly, Fratellis, Nelly and Jack Johnson. I also A&R remixes for our acts – these have included mixes for Amy Winehouse (Soulcast/Steve Mac), Sugababes (by Ian Carey/Seamus Haji/Dennis Christopher/DJ Prom/Full Intention/Kujay Da Da/D*Bop/Psycho Radio…), Taio Cruz (Spencer & Hill/Norman Flaskamp), Cass Fox (Spencer & Hill), Mary J Blige (Moto Blanco) and Rumble Strips (Marc Leaf). I also write a music column for QX Magazine.

Aside from music, I love spending time with my friends who never fail to inspire and encourage me, as well as make me laugh. All of which I am grateful for.
